Why Choose Our 3D Printing & Scanning Services

Print-Ready or From Scratch

Already have an STL file? We'll print it. Only have the physical part? We can scan it and build a printable model from there.

A Material for Every Job

From clean-finish PLA to flexible, impact-resistant TPU, we help you choose the right filament for how the part will actually be used.

Professional 3D Scanning

Using the EinScan Rigil Lite, we capture accurate shape and surface geometry from real-world objects, including reflective, dark or detailed surfaces.

Ideal for Automotive & Custom Projects

From discontinued trim to one-off brackets and custom enclosures, we specialise in replacement parts and reverse-engineering for vehicles and beyond.

Full Process Support

From initial consultation through scanning, modelling, prototyping and test fitting, we support the whole journey to a finished part.

Trusted by Individuals & Businesses

We work with hobbyists, designers, engineers and businesses alike, on everything from a single replacement bracket to ongoing product development.

Upload Your 3D Printing Project

Already have a completed 3D model?
Upload your STL file and tell us about your project using the quotation form below. Our team will review the model, confirm its suitability for printing and recommend the most appropriate material and print settings.

Your quotation will take into account:

The dimensions of the finished part
The selected filament
Print time
Material usage
Required strength and flexibility
Surface finish
Level of detail
Quantity required
Any finishing or assembly requirements

Please provide as much information as possible. This will help us understand how the finished part will be used and ensure we recommend the correct material.

Our 3D Printing Materials

PLA Basic

PLA Basic is a versatile material suitable for prototypes, display items, models, housings and general-purpose components. It is a good choice for projects that require a clean finish and good dimensional detail without demanding high heat resistance or flexibility. Common applications include: concept models, display pieces, interior trim prototypes, brackets and covers, product samples, and general household components.

PLA Matte

PLA Matte provides a smooth, low-gloss appearance that helps reduce visible layer lines. It is ideal for decorative items, display models, interior components and finished prototypes where appearance is particularly important. Common applications include: display models, decorative components, interior accessories, product presentation samples, architectural models, and premium-looking prototypes.

PLA Metal

PLA Metal is a specialist PLA material designed to create a metallic-style appearance. It can be used for badges, decorative components, display pieces and prototypes that require the visual effect of metal without the weight or manufacturing cost of a fully metal component. Please note that PLA Metal is generally chosen for its appearance rather than for the structural properties of real metal. Common applications include: badges and emblems, decorative trim, display components, replica parts, props and models, and presentation prototypes.

ABS Filament

ABS is a strong and durable material suitable for more demanding functional applications. It offers improved temperature resistance compared with standard PLA and can be appropriate for housings, brackets and selected automotive or workshop components. Common applications include: functional prototypes, enclosures and housings, workshop components, brackets and mounting parts, automotive interior components, and replacement parts. The suitability of ABS will depend on the part design, its location and the temperatures or loads it will experience.

TPU Filament

TPU is a flexible, impact-resistant material suitable for parts that need to bend, compress or absorb vibration. Different TPU materials can have different levels of flexibility, so please tell us how soft or rigid the finished component needs to be. Common applications include: flexible covers, protective components, gaskets, bushes, cable guides, anti-vibration parts, flexible trims, and protective feet and pads.

Not Sure Which Material You Need?

You do not need to select a material before contacting us. Tell us what the part will be used for, where it will be installed and whether it needs to withstand heat, movement, impact, moisture or regular handling. Our team can then recommend a suitable filament.

3D Scanning Services

Do you have an existing component but no digital model?
Our 3D scanning service can capture the shape and surface geometry of an existing object, creating digital scan data that can be used as the starting point for reproduction, inspection, modification or custom product development.

Our scanning services may be suitable for:

  • Replacement components
    Discontinued or difficult-to-source parts
  • Automotive trim and interior components
  • Custom vehicle projects
  • Product development
  • Reverse-engineering projects
  • Prototype development
  • Fitment checks
  • Custom enclosures and brackets
  • Specialist one-off requirements

Our Scanning Equipment

We use the EinScan Rigil Lite, a professional all-in-one laser 3D scanner designed for versatile scanning applications. The scanner combines built-in computing, wireless operation and multiple scanning technologies, allowing it to capture objects of different sizes and surface types. Its integrated design means scanning work can be completed directly through the scanner or as part of a connected computer-based workflow.

The equipment supports different scanning approaches, enabling us to select a suitable method based on the object, its size, surface finish and the level of detail required. Some objects may require temporary scanning markers or a removable scanning spray, particularly where the surface is highly reflective, transparent, very dark or has limited visible detail.

From Physical Object to Finished Part

Depending on your requirements, a custom scanning project may include:

1.

An initial project consultation

2.

Inspection of the original component

3.

3D scanning

4.

Scan-data cleaning and processing

5.

Creation or modification of a printable model

6.

Prototype printing

7.

Test fitting

8.

Design adjustments

9.

Production of the finished component

Please note that raw 3D scan data is not always immediately suitable for printing. Additional design, surface repair or reverse-engineering work may be required before a printable model can be produced.

Business and Product Development

We also welcome enquiries from businesses, designers, automotive specialists and entrepreneurs who need support developing new products or improving existing components.

Frequently asked questions

If you need advice on the best option for your project, our team is happy to help. Get in touch via our email or phone for expert guidance and booking availability.

No. If you already have a print-ready STL file, we can quote and print directly from it. If you only have the physical part, we can scan it and build a model from there.
STL is our preferred format for print-ready models. If you’re unsure whether your file is suitable, upload it via the quotation form and we’ll confirm.
We base our recommendation on how the part will be used, including required strength, flexibility, heat resistance, surface finish and how it will be handled or installed. You don’t need to choose a material yourself before contacting us.
In many cases, yes. We can scan the original component, clean and process the scan data, and produce a printable model, though some parts may need additional design or reverse-engineering work first.
Not always. Scan data often needs cleaning, repair or modification before it’s suitable for printing, which we account for as part of the process.
Highly reflective, transparent, very dark or low-detail surfaces can be harder to capture accurately. In these cases, we may use temporary scanning markers or a removable scanning spray to improve results.
Yes. Quantity is one of the factors we take into account when preparing your quotation, alongside dimensions, material and finishing requirements.
Yes. We support individuals, designers, engineers, automotive specialists and businesses, from one-off replacement parts to ongoing product development projects.
Turnaround depends on the complexity of the part, the material used and whether scanning, modelling or design work is required. We’ll confirm timescales once we’ve reviewed your project.
