We recommend that you don’t put your windows down for at least 5 days. Of course in emergency situations your windows will roll down as normal. In extreme situations rolling down your windows within the recommended time could result in the tint peeling off. This is because the tint needs time to dry out and get a good bond to the glass.

You will not be pulled by Police for your window tints as they are NOT illegal. The only reason you could ever be pulled by Police for window tints is if your FRONT windows have been tinted beyond the legal limit of 75% light transmission. All cars come with front windows on the legal limit, any tint applied to the front windows would not be road legal in the UK.

Yes. Window tint can be peeled off no problem at all, it is fully reversible.

If you want to remove your tint, we can do that for you, call us for a price. If you want to remove it yourself, you can. Just peel it off and strip away the glue with some glue remover.

It is not illegal to have your rear windows tinted, you can have them any shade that you like. If you do have any issues with your MOT relating to window tints, please feel free to give us a call and we will assist you in getting any issues rectified.

When your vehicle comes into us for window tints we will carefully clean your windows after the film is applied. This is because we recommend that you don’t clean your windows for at least 5 days after the film is applied.

Window tinting film goes straight over the top of your defroster lines causing no harm. The still work as normal as our film is so thin.

A clean car can help. however it is not vital.

Exterior:

Please ensure your exterior is relatively clean. You don’t need to bring your car absolutely immaculate, but if you have lumps of mud all over it from off-roading, we won’t be able to tint it.

Interior:

Cleaner the better, but again it’s not vital. We will thoroughly clean your windows so any contamination will be removed.
